Klondike Derby – January 2001

We attended Heart of Ohio Councils Klondike Derby January 28th-30th, 2001 at Camp Averyhand in Mansfied, Ohio. The boys had a great time this year with our brand new sled. We put finishing touches on it the Wednesday before we left. Thanks to Bill Kephart for taking charge of the project. The boys had a good time building it. They did fairly well for only having 4 boys attend the campout due to some people having the flu. They placed 14th out of 32 patrols. Good Job guys!! It was nice to have a good amount of snow this year!!
