Bob Evans Farms – September 2000

We went to Bob Evans Farms in September 2000. We enjoyed the day hiking, horseback riding and then the boys cut down an old dead tree. But we had to end the beautiful day with a downpour that flooded camp Saturday Evening. Our entire area was under water, so we packed up at 10:00pm and headed back home.

Cleanup Everyones favorite job is to cleanup. But they didn't mind this time. We had a great lunch.
Here is a picture of our beds. Our troop likes to sleep out under the stars so to speak. With minimal coverage. It is fine unless you get 2 inches of rain in a half an hour.
Timber!!!!! After lunch, the boys went for firewood. Next thing I know they are taking saws and the ax out into the woods. Little did I know they already had cut half way thru the tree. It was dead!! So I helped them finish it off. This project took about 3 hours. But every minute was fun.

Here is Evan K. No offense and defintly not to pick on Evan, but I had to pick him up and out him in his saddle. He couldn't reach his foot up in the stirrups. It's ok Evan.
